Help level the playing field between solo and small private practice physicians and the large insurance companies that control physician reimbursement.
The Physician’s Collective Negotiations Bill is moving through the Senate and Assembly. All four of the Suffolk Senators are now co-sponsors and several Assemblymembers are co-sponsors and some are still signing on to the bills. There is a chance for passage before the Legislature goes home for the summer. However, all physicians must remain active, and continue to call/fax/email their Legislators so that they will push Senate and Assembly leadership to bring the bills to the floor for a vote this session. All Suffolk physicans are asked to call the Senate switchboard and Assembly switchboard to give the following brief message:
